Before i start up any blogging on this page, I will like to thank everyone for supporting this movement, our movement, Roll-a-dice entertainment and our alliances.
Who are we? hmm thats a tough question...I know alot of industry heads would be wondering and certianly will turn round when we mention this (or I mention this) :-)
We are Roll-A-Dice Entertainment, a proudly Nigerian business based out in the UK, with routes firmly embeded in the Niger delta parts of Nigeria and Lagos (gidi).
A sister company to Roll-A-Dice entertainment and Media Ltd, we pride ourselves in promoting Nigerian talent and content to the global audience ( and not loosing the Nigerian identity)..
Whilst there are similar Companies and individuals doing the same, we tend not to loose sight of our Nigerian aspects and lifestyle, hence staying unique in the business..afterall, the global market might just appreciate a Nigerian act for being Nigerian ( e.g Fela, Oliver de coque R.I.P) after all similar acclaim has been achieved bu the carribean and latin acts.
Back to the subject..(pardon my digression) :-) The business houses a record label, Roll-A-Dice records as well as an events and publishing business. Currently signed to the label are Jahborne, Letura and Olushizzy, and we are currently working on Management and content protection for a few other acts affilaited to the family.
We believe quality music lies not only in the music but in the brand itself! we live our brand, its a lifestyle... its more than urban music..
